Do all of the rooms have private bathrooms?

Yes, all guest rooms at the EJ Bowman House B&B feature private en-suite bathrooms with a heated floor.

Are there any Jacuzzi Suites at the bed and breakfast?

The Bowman Suite is a king suite with a Jacuzzi tub in the private ensuite bathroom with heated floors.

Is parking available on-site?

Yes, free parking is available for guests at the B&B.

Do the rooms have Wi-Fi access?

Yes, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, including all guest rooms.

Planning Your Stay

Are there any nearby attractions or things to do nearby?

E.J. Bowman House is on Lititz Pike between Lititz PA (4 miles away) and Downtown Lancaster (4.7 miles away). The inn is near many Lancaster County attractions, including Amish country tours, Lancaster Central Market, and local museums. Lancaster area theaters such as the American Music Theater, Fulton Theater, Dutch Apple Dinner Theater, and Sight and Sound Theater are also nearby.

Is the B&B suitable for families or children?

E.J. Bowman House is primarily geared towards adult guests, making it an ideal getaway for couples or solo travelers. Families with older children are welcome, but younger children may not be accommodated.

Is the E.J. Bowman House B&B pet-friendly?

No, pets are not allowed at the B&B to ensure the comfort of all guests, but service animals are permitted with prior arrangements.

Dining

Is breakfast included, and what kind of breakfast is served?

Yes. A full homemade gourmet breakfast is included with every stay at E.J. Bowman House Bed & Breakfast.  Breakfast is served daily, with a rotating menu of hot entrées, fresh pastries, fruit, and locally sourced ingredients.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes, the hosts are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions such as gluten-free, vegan, or dairy-free options with prior notice.

What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served at 9:00 a.m. Other times are available on request; let us know in advance.

Do guests eat together?

Breakfast is served at one communal handcrafted Shaker table in the dining room.

Does the menu change during a multi-night stay?

Yes. The chef's choice main dish rotates daily, alternating between sweet and savory. Staying five nights? Stay 5 nights, get the 5th free; special means five different breakfasts for the price of four nights.

Policies & Reservations

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is typically between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made at least 7 days before the arrival date will be refunded. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the reservation date will be charged the full room cost unless the rooms can be rebooked. All cancellations may be charged a $25 per room service fee.
