Murphey Room: A PA Bed and Breakfast Getaway with a King Bed
The Murphey Room is the most private in the house. It sits at the top of its own staircase on the second floor, away from the other guest rooms.
Originally two rooms, it was opened into one. Morning sun comes through the southeast-facing windows behind colonial shutters and falls on Plain culture quilts, Mennonite art, and Amish-made furniture. The private bath has a walk-in shower and a heated floor.
The bed works either way: a king for couples, or two antique twins if you'd rather, which makes this a good room for friends traveling together as well. Let us know which you'd like when you book. Rates start at $160 a night for two, breakfast included.
